Ok, right here, you've crossed the line. I think people have been
trying to be civil in resolving this, but you don't seem to want to go
that route.
Fuck you, you piece of shit. Who the fuck do you think you are
threatening people with lawsuits just because you think you have some
kind of right to be on a mailing list. Well you know what? You don't.
You have no rights here. No one has any rights here. You are a guest,
as all of us are, on this list hosted by Palm. And as the host, Palm
reserves the right to throw you out on your fat ass whenever they choose
to.
You obviously don't give a shit about anyone else but yourself. You
claim that you are making something for the community, but whenever the
community gives you a little advice, you tell them to screw off.
Personally, I think you are one of the most immature and socially inept
people I've seen on a mailing list in a long time.
When problems arose, instead of trying to resolve them amicably, you
chose to take a defensive stance which seems more like a 2year old
throwing a tantrum than a professional who is working for the good of
everyone. You insist on promoting your own product, and constantly
belittling other's. Even after helpful suggestions were made to you
about including a message that "this is for UNIX" in your posts, you
chose to not only ignore those suggestions, but to vehemently defend
your stance, and to flat out refuse to listen.
Your further comments about moving development to 3rd world countries is
not only repulsive, but really shines a light on to your true
character. You don't care at all about the community. Caring about the
community involves respecting their rules. You once did not respect the
communities rules by self-proclaiming yourself as the holder of software
which already had a maintainer, and now you have decided that if another
author's license doesn't suit you, you will do everything in your power
to willfully violate that license.
You are a hypocrate because you demand that others adhere to an OSS
license, yet you allow yourself to decide which licenses you want to
adhere to. If you can't adhere to a software license as set forth by
the copyright owner, you are not only pissing people off, but you are
also violating federal copyright law.
You are exactly what's wrong with America. You are the problem. Ever
hear of the stupid court cases where people sue McDonalds for hot
coffee? Well, YOU are now one of those people, threatening a lawsuit
just when things don't seem to go your way. If you ever have a question
about where those people came from, you needn't look any further than
your closest mirror.
Any valid points that you may have made in the past, as far as I'm
concerned, are now invalid. You are nothing more than a sniveling
little whiny person. Feel free to express your First Amendment Rights
and whine some more.
