That is part of it, it also has ramifications for devices that can beam. In
my opinion you WANT people to beam your app around. And one nice way to do
that is to make it so that a beamed copy is considered a demo. If you only
have demo/paid for versions of the app, then someone that paid for the app
is either going to beam that to other people (bad - the other people won't
pay) or not be able to beam it (presuming you set copy protect bit) - also
bad, as you want the free word of mouth advertising.
