This policy was changed in May of 1999, because we changed our release
cycles. Previously we released two pieces of software per year, and when
you paid, you got a year's worth of software, which was two versions. Now
there is only one release per year, so you don't get a free update. There
are about 50 people who have been grandfathered by old policies, and should
be getting 7 for free. If you bought release 6 as your first version or got
release 6 as a free update, you don't qualify. But if you are interested in
whether you are one of these people, you can contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] to
find out.

I apologize if my colleague's response was considered rude. I'm sure it was
not the intent.
