Hi Brenda. Being curious, I went to the page and got the package. I don't know what made the autor so confident in putting GPL there, but as far as I can see there is no source there.
There is a number of applications that process power on/off as I could see. You can definitely do it by trapping key press, but can it be done apart from hacking ?
