Bingo! It will likely end up being an early model, with the Bus-style tail lights (easier to model) but it is a Type 181. Haven't seen anyone offering one, or talking about offering one, so I decided to do my own. I'm working from pictures from a VW sales brochure so I can get the dimensions right, and doing the design old school (do you remember your Pythagorean Theorem?)
