Cat,

I know of several of them here, locally, and the owners have all been very 
understanding about letting me take photos and measurements.  I own 3 
air-cooled VW's of my own, so it's easier to get to know them, even though I 
don't have their specific model.

My own cars are a '71 Super Beetle, a '71 Squareback and a '65 Baja Bug. 
They were my hobby until I lost my job 2 years ago and discovered paper 
models.
