.......The only other Tail Dragger I owned was a serious piece of insanity,
a fully aerobatic Great Lakes

Cat,

I don't own one but Chandler Muni Airport just 8 miles south of me has them
available for rent. I have flown as a passenger about 25 hours in one while
my friend was practicing his routine for aerobatic competition. I got a
little bit of stick time after he was done running through his routine each
time. It was more fun than any roller coaster I have ever tried. Needless
to say they are a fun, snappy plane to fly and I am no where near qualified
to perform most aerobatic maneuvers - as they are supposed to be done!.

Now I am stuck in the low and slow mode staying within the FAR103 ultralight
world.

I do not know if I have ever seen a paper model of a Great Lakes Biplane.
Hint Hint.....Anyone?
That would be a fun build for my friend as a memory of his competition.

I have A red Pitts Special done by James Hairston.

Enjoy

Paul
