Hi all! A simple mail to let you know that PAR is now able to build and run my complex perl project using many modules, including win32 specific perl MSSQL libraries, without any extra command line options. I've been waiting for over a year for the UTF8 fix and now everything works!
The PAR generated executable is even more perl compatible that perlapp! Yup, I found out that perlapp had an UTF8 issue that was really hard to track down... it sometimes outputed in latin1 instead of UTF8 when specified not to do so. With native perl, and now also PAR executable I get the correct behavior. Hurray! Daniel Shane
