Hi Don,
I have a shortcut pointing to the executable for the nero program, thus avoiding control central, or whatever its called. When I want to burn an audio cd from the opening screen, I use the we find command, shift-cntrl-f and type audio in the find dialogue. I then press the mouse left click button and a new audio layout opens. A data cd is chosen by default. Hope this helps. This is nero 6.0, but I don't know what build.
