High Kevin,
I was wondering where you could get those cartridges and how much they will cost.
But ok, I understand that you can put NLS books on them.
But how about music, can you put music files on those cartridges to as well?
It looks like it will work on any computer using the USB interface, but how do you plug those cartridges in to your computer so you can put files on them?
 John.

Subject: RE: DIGITAL TALKING BOOK PLAYER QUESTION

Hi John.

I'm guessing here, but the San Disc drive may not be totally compatible with the NLS player. People have reported problems with this brand of drive. I
tried hooking up an SD reader to my player, and it sort of worked. I was
able to play part of an NLS book, but then the player would say I had
reached the end of it. I didn't get a cartridge error, though.

People have reported good results with the Kingston brand of flash drive,
and I purchased a LEXAR 4 gig drive that works fine with the player. Keep
in mind, however, that the player is mainly designed to work with the
cartridges designed for it. You can get blank 2 gig cartridges from

http://www.aph.org

These are more expensive than flash drives, and they don't hold as much.
I've decided to use them, because I know they work with the NLS player, and
they fit into the front of it with little effort.

If you have any other questions, let me know.
