Are you as a human being actually capable of keeping up with even a 100mhz? There will always, forever and ever, be a faster and prettier computer. The real question is: What are you doing with your computer that requires the speed of light? Your 7500 is more than likely adequate to your actual needs.
If you have to have more glitziness and speed, I would be happy to have your Sonnet 300 MHZ G3 Processor. BTW, have you run Norton Disk Doctor and Speed Disk? Sounds to me that your drive may be highly fragmented. Zhmmy ��������������������� Hello, I've got a PM 7500 with a Sonnet 300 MHZ G3 Processor. However, it doesn't seem to run much faster than my previous 180 MHZ 604e processor. The Apple system profiler says its running at 195mhz, but the TechTool Pro says its running at 301mhz. Is there any way I can tell what's what? Also, will I need to upgrade to a G4 processor to use OS X (is that even possible with my 7500)?
