Meanwhile, I put 32 MB 2k sticks in, and it works every time; Not even once has it hiccupped.
Do you have a mix of old and new RAM? That will often cause problems, it did for me.
But if you're saying that using only 4K refresh DIMMS in your system gives you trouble, you is an a very distinct minority. It's more likely you have a bad motherboard or bad RAM.
