Hi all,

I have made similar posts in the past with no responses. Maybe this catchier "headline" will prove better results. In order for me to benefit from this list I have to keep receiving the list mail and over the past two years that's been the problem. It would be interesting to know how others are faring?

I get all the usual bounce messages, rather heavy at times and usually ignore them...UNTIL I start missing list digests. (I can't deal with getting and opening individual list email). My ISP rep has told me the PCI list gets periodically blacklisted by SpamCop from time to time due to complaints (from who ? I must ask?) or because of spamlike activity. I was missing weeks at a time last fall. Since SpamCop is the most widely used spam service by ISPs, many of you must also be affected by this, unless my ISP rep is full of crap. Between not answering bounce messages and not getting list mail, eventually I get dropped by the Maclaunch server and must resubscribe.

Digest mode is obviously more problematic because one flagged item takes down the whole digest. My ISP rep says that ads placed in the emails by posters are a problem. I sent him a copy of the list sponsor ads and links asking, "what, these ads? :

- And he responded with, "Yes, those are the ones."

If this is true, what's the secret? Getting an unfilterted email account and setting up your own filters? Judging by the comments from some of you in your posts on how much spam your getting, that's what many of you are doing. One thing I see as conceivable is too many people copying the ads with their reply posts thereby triggering a SpamCop filter simply by the repetition or volume of the same ads or links contained within a digest. For everyone's sake please do not do this!

Any others experiencing the same Spamcop issue with this list and their ISP?

Mike
