Well, Mike, this is no good at all. Have you any control on what the ISP
offer? If so, can you turn down the offered vigilance? And yes, use filters
and rules and email prgm options...

I have a collection of the PCI lists (especially for the last few months)
and there seem no missing issues, maybe I can send missing ones to you in a
big folder, use OE?

And, if this is not much solace, let me say this: I write to endorse your
suggestion for folk not to add unnecessary stuff.

David Elmo

Yes, NLS does offer unfiltered mail but I have to change to a different mail server on their system with a goofy name. With unfiltered, if it's addressed to you then you get it, emails, spams, virus. The filtering is your job.
I kinda like the ISP virus protection (even though I'm at low risk as a Mac user!) since they would stay more on top of the new virus definitions.

As far as missed issues, forget it, I was so sick of the hassles I was off the list for months. I just went to http://mail.maclaunch.com:8100/Lists/pci-powermacs/List.html to check the postings occasionally. Thanks for the offer.

Mike
