Thanks for all the input so far. Unfortunatly, as Ron pointed out; I don't
have FWB Tools, only what comes with OS 9. Both drives are not apple branded
however, the second Quantum was a back drive in my 8600/300 (ATA/100 PCI IDE
Card). And when I put the drive back into the 8600 it's immediately
recognized. Not only that. But the old Apple branded 1gig I had in my G3 is
no longer recognized..
