This raises for me the general question of what people are running for virus protection (if anything) on their vintage Macs -- meaning anything running with OS9.x and below. Any related comments on this subject would be welcome (at least by me!).... How careful do we need to be given the relatively [sic] diminished problem in the Mac world. (Or is that too quick an assumption?) Etc.

A teacher that i know claims that a school network of Macs attracts viruses ( virii ? ) But has yet to show me one.
I have used Macs for 5 years from OS 7.5.1 to 9.1 .
I have used Eudora Lite for mail and downloaded with Netscape from 4 to ( now ) 7.
I have never had a problem I could identify as a virus..
