Yes, I know what you are saying. But there is something I cannot pinpoint. Illustrator and Photoshop mainly. They are set to undo and redo stages of work and this is important to me and was very good indeed on 9.1 I need the history of changes. I give all these prgms tons of ram, like 65 MB for Illust. and similar for PS (recommended is 16 for both). Nothing has changed as far (as I can see) but the operating system and all its attendant extensions. And the ATI upgrade extensions. Anyway, the heat is off! I have pissed the beautiful LCD and fancy card off to a 7300 for testing and restored 9.1 and the old 20" CRT. The interesting thing is that, before I restored 9.1, I put back the twin turbos and 20" CRT and turned off the ATI exts, I noticed that there was still the same prob on 9.2.2 on my 7600. So it was not the card and it was not the LCD and it was not the ATI exts. I will play around in spare time now with 9.2.2 and ATI card on a spare 7300 etc to see if I can find the source of the prob.
