Most excellent suggestion there Dave, but something seems
to have been the original problem for her, being missed so
far; I do believe that her desktop is in need of a rebuild upon
it's restart and holding the Shift key down until the Extensions
disabled or Install mode dialogue box appears, then swiftly
hold both the Cmd+Option keys until asked if you are sure
you wish to rebuilt the desktop and click ok/yes to it, and let
it do it's job, then when done simply reboot the Mac. Only
then, would I suggest a re-download and install of both the
WamCom and iCab and proceed to install them both. iirc-
The WamCom has it's own installer, and iCab was simply a
drag/n/drop into the Internet Applications Folder, anyway
both should go there with Aliases put into the Apple Menu
Items folder, then an extra reboot tossed in. IMHO
Also, Ginny; de-fragging your HD, might be a suggestable.
