Well kinda, as a matter of fact, even before I install'd RamDoubler
to aid, and altho I've never used anything larger than 4-5Mbs for
any RAM Disk, and normally dump all the cache before switching/
changups on Browsers I've never had any problems, do note; tho,
that my specify'd cache sz. in the Prefs is always a lil' smaller than
the sz. of the Disk. And when cruizen the Net, I mostly never run
any other Ram hog or CPU intensive App/s, other than maybe just
URLManager or a mail app.

Not w/o RamDoubler to helpout in most all cases, especially for any
of those w/ less than that amount of real Ram, for sure, but 4-5Mbs
really ain't that large a bite. I even use a RAM Disk on well heel'd
in real Ram BeigeG3/G4 power'd w/o ill effects, and still no hits to
the HDs showup. Give it a tryout, you might be surprize'd pleasantly,
even w/ your gagglez of install'd real Ram, and those without much
but a bare minimum.
But, as always YMMV. Also dave and Ginny, after you do give it a
good workout, do comeback to us w/ your tryout results and let us
know which browsers work best for you, as well as those that don't
cut it too. TIA
