I used to use it on my SE 30 to switch between 6 and 7. It was not completely without fault, but it sort of worked mainly. These days, if you can't find software to do this for our powermacs, it is probably best to either have different systems on different volumes (meaning either 2 HDs or 2 partitions of the one) and using the startup control panel. Your very own built in and super reliable system picker. The other thing that can be done (put it this way, I *did* it but felt *queasy* about it) is this. Put another system folder on the HD but rename it (say "Fystem Solder"). When you want to use it, change the name back and "funny name" the current one. (Queasy because I was not sure if the boot up looks inside all folders and sees similar names, like 2 "System"s and 2 "Finder"s or whether it sees just one "System Folder" and that is good enough for it. Doubt it sees Fystem Solder and thinks "Hah! Can't fool me. I will now act all confused and refuse to start in retaliation for the impudence..."
