No doubt these Ram Disks have their uses. Since it appears you will use it
for cache management in browsing, do me a favour that no one else has done
for me yet: devise your own test to see if it has any speed advantage in
browsing. My trials, a couple of years back, showed no particular advantage
so worth having in this respect.

As for dumping a cache, folks may be interested in a script like the one I
made for this purpose:

tell application "Finder"
    activate
select {file "IE Cache.waf" of folder "MS Internet Cache" of folder
"Preferences" of folder "System Folder" of startup disk, file "cache.waf" of
folder "MS Internet Cache" of folder "Preferences" of folder "System Folder"
of startup disk}
    delete selection
    empty trash
end tell

and you can name it with something like \T+O at the end of the name and put
it in OSA menu. Then, when in the finder, you just just press
option+command+t and presto...

(Remember, if your cache is not in the same place as mine, you will need to
modify the above script to reflect its name and position. BTW, this script
works not only for caches kept in the fridge, but other things like rotting
fruit. Yup! It's that robust.)
