I asked why the letters years ago without success. But no matter. It is a
filing system that works. what's this about it being sad though? The cache
*is* in one folder. It is called "icab cache" and it has sub folders, a, b,
c etc.

You can dump the lot by dumping the parent folder. You can also dive into
the subfolders (there are key commands to open all folders in list view) to
grab and copy, duplicate or move items. I have done this for movies,
trailers etc. Try this in IE. Not so easy. In fact impossible to do via
cache. The iCab's transparent and assessable cache is one of the things I
liked about it and made me continue with it in spite of its hopeless
handling of modern CSS.

(Psst, btw, wanna cheap - like free - script to access it? Here is the one I
made:

tell application "Finder"
    activate
select folder "iCab Cache" of folder "iCab Preferences" of folder
"Preferences" of folder "System Folder" of startup disk
    open selection
end tell

)

Ah, well, this could be a few things. You should allot it more memory than
it says in Get Info for a start. And also, make sure your version is not
expired and you need to update. I think I recall, older versions expire...
