LOVEK >> I just used the Monitor and Sound control panel that come standard with OS 8 and OS 9 Easy Installs when it was attached my 7500 to change resolutions. I never had to use the install disc to install anything, however the disc does have a lot of info and extensions on it. Upon on reading the manual (which I never did before) the On Screen Display (OSD) settings may help. The OSD button is located on the monitor case just below the screen furthest to the left. Of course if you can't get a viewable image on the monitor then this is not useful. Currently my monitor is attached to a G4 but I still use the OS 9 Monitor and Sound CP to change resolutions when needed.
