Well, I just examined the settings of my Linksys router and see that the box for "Enable PPPoE" is not checked. There is a "note" below the check boxes that says "NOTE: PPPoE is for ADSL user only." What does this mean if "Verizon uses PPPoE for tracking?" They use it but it is not necessary?
