I'm attempting to move folders from the outlook express 5.5 <?> to
outlook express 6. I found the .dbx files for outlook express 5.5 in the
Windows/application data/microsoft/welcome directory. I was going to move
the folders over to that directory in outlook express 6 except it doesn't
have a directory like that.
So I made a special folder and then did a search and found the .dbx
files in outlook express 6 at Documents and Settings/ vernon/ local
settings/application data/ identities/ outlook. So I moved the .dbx files
from 5.5 to 6 but they are not seen. The import feature only works with the
standard inbox, outbox etc, not with folders you make.
I even changed the name of the drafts.dbx file in OE 6 to
draft.dbx but it is still plural in OE6.
Has anyone figured out a way to do this?
