I should have said that it is also running with the Asus CPU cooling
program, but I think that I did read somewhere that with the latest AMD
Athlon chips, the program cooling is not as effective.  The one site
that I checked had over 40 coolers and only a couple of them rated for
the latest AMD chips.  Seems that they run hotter than the pentium. 
Have a friend that has the AMD 1.5 ghz and has the same situation.  He
found that putting a copper bottom cooler on his chip was the solution. 
I intend to go back to my manufacturing shop with this info and get it
taken care of.

I haven't  checked the clearance as the machine is only a couple of
months old and is still under warrenty.
