I am not aware of this directive but I object to that. I believe that each
reply should contain a portion of the first message. That is in order to
help the subscribers understand the whole and not just a part of a specific
issue.
Unfortunately, the majority of users here uses MSOE as their mail client
which (with the default configuration)does not follow some basic
principles of netiquette (bottom-posting for example).
There's no need to argue for that stuff. Go, hit the sea (it's "hit the
showers" but you understood the basic idea) and relax. Life is too
short to be spent on things like that.
P.S.: Now, if you, guys, could put your guns aside for a while, we would
be grateful. <smile>
