That reminds me of something. There are some shortcuts to
doing that and other similar things. I used one today called
"e-cleaner". It has a function called "find and replace". I
was creating a site map and I wanted a quick way to add most
of the HTML code so URL's would be clickable. I did a "find"
for http and a "replace" for it with <a href="http://
and so on, you get the picture. In that case of course it
prefixed the first part of the HTML code for a clickable link
so I didn't have to do 100+ "pastes". I simply pasted some
100+ links into the program, then did the find and replace a
few times for several things, then pasted it into an HTML
webpage, etc., and page was done in a few minutes.

In your case, you have to do something I must also do (and
everyone else that has a website), and it must be done to
EVERY single page. There is another program called "find and
replace" (it's different from e-cleaner above). I have NOT
used it yet, but it is made specifically for things like
this; the changing of webpages. You could for example, do a
find for </head> and replace it with (well, you deleted the
tag....ok), replace it with the smart tag 'zapper' and
</head>, so you'd end up with:

<meta name="MSSmartTagsPreventParsing" content="TRUE">
</head>

I would think the program searches, say....a folder for a
text string, then does the find and replace, then you'd ftp
the pages back up to the server.

30-day "trial", but I think it's shareware.

"e-Cleaner"
(Free. Does the simple things. You can get it all over the
place)

I know....I should do it....but I have SO many pages, it
would take me
ages. I keep meaning to do it, but you know how that goes.
*sigh*

Thanks Linda. Why don't you use it? They pull traffic away
from your site and direct it towards others.

Yes Clint...it works. I don't use it but I know many people
who do.
