I posted for help on this a week or so ago.....I went over and reinstalled Windows ME. There were some other problems I had to go back over and fix, one was scan disk starting and hanging, the other, her AOL would not connect to webpage she uses most. I disabled scan disk after bad shut-down and showed her how to use Internet Explorer to get to WebPages easier. Now, when she reboots, it goes through all the hard ware detect, etc....but stops in MS-DOS with just a flashing cursor. I can not understand what can be causing this, with a fresh ME install. She has AOL and just a few other programs installed. I kept McAfee off the computer and put Norton SW 2003 on. My guess would be AOL or Norton. Has anyone had experiences with this type problem in ME? Thank you.
