Here is a guaranteed method (I've had to do it myself at a total cost of
$0)

Download and run CWShredder to remove the trojan files that most likely
made the changes you are having problems with.

Then, download and run StartPage Guard and use it to prevent your
homepage changing without your approval.

I've heard one person out of many mention any problems with the
StartPage Guard, but after a month, I've not had ANY problems with it.
Once you have you home page set up, any other attempts to change it will
alert you, or you can lock it so that any attempts are just ignored with
no actions needed on your part.  But you can still go in later an
manually change it yourself if you wish.
