Hi Debbie.. I totally agree with Thomas.. Download CWShredder, and run it,, plus run the updates.. and do this every few days.
Also.. I have spyware guard. and spyware blaster on my computer. and IF a site attempts to hijack my page. it tells me of it immediately. (if necessary you can run a hi jack log..(another program..- but you need help telling you what to get rid of there). You can download both from Wilders.org.. They're excellent programs.. take up virtually no space at all.. And Spyware guard.. sits 'quietly'. in your tray.. just to the right of the clock. As with all programs.. you really should do the updates when available. Another thing I have is Ad-aware (by Lavasoft) and also Spybot Search & Destroy.. Both are the same type programs. but one just "helps" the other,, one will find - something the other doesnt' find.. I just helped someone clean up their computer.. They have it networked. and had 450 baddies in Ad-aware and 150 in Spybot.. I installed both programs. as their page was not only getting hi jacked.. but also - they had 3 tool bars and they wouldnt' go away.. and pop-ups galore.. ALL of these programs are totally FREE..
