PCWorks: Error Message

[VHD2002]

I just purchased a new digital camera as a fathers day gift,upon installing
the software I get the error message "incompatible version of the rpc
stub,setup will now terminate".I can't install the software or the
drivers,the computer operating system is Windows 98se with 512 mb of ram,I
also tried to install it on my daughters Window XP computer,got the same
error message.I looked in windows help there is no reference to this
error...grr! What does this error mean? Is there any remedy?
