No, I wouldn't just delete the file. Does ME have the SFC
on it? I'm not even sure. Did you go to the run command
(start menu, then 'run') and type SFC in the text box?
If that's what you did, then SFC must not be on ME. Can
you download anything else? Maybe that's part of the
problem. One of the download links is bad (no surprise
there) but the other I did get to and got it with no
problem. I'll send it to you off list, it's a small file,
and go here and read this info FIRST if you haven't.

You may have to end up deleting that file in safe mode then
reinstalling windows. Wait first for some more input
though, since I don't use ME.

Ok, it's either part of ME (or ME updates) or some drivers.
What did it say was the manufacturer or company, Microsoft
or some other? Looks like it's part of ME regarding DOS.

All the other links I found (that were in English) had the
same info on it. You may or may not need the patch, but
first I would run the system file checker (RUN: SFC) and
extract it off of the CD and reinstall the file.
