I refuse all receipts so someone requesting one doesn't matter, so the need for a RR isn't very important.
I am interested in learning whether Thunderbird permits redirecting emails. TheBat! has a beautiful redirect function, and Eudora seems to have a half-decent redirect function. Does Thunderbird, or is there an extension/plug-in to handle that? Surely one would not stay with OE simply to have a return receipt function when that is based on whether the recipient is willing to comply. As for Firefox, I have had no problems leaving IE to use FF.
