Thunderbird does support IMAP servers fine, and you can get your Hotmail too provided you use something like Fastmail http://www.fastmail.fm/
I'll check this out. Thanks. I read where Popper won't work anymore unless you have Hotmail Plus.
What settings did you use when you set up your IMAP accounts?
I looked and they seem the same. Didn't Thunderbird import them from Hotmail?
Do they match the IMAP accounts under OE?
As far as I can tell. Last night I even turned off the anti v i r u s program and it still did not work.

My OE works fine except the new AVG7 stopped OE from getting mail from the IMAP server. I have to turn the email protection off to receive my mail from that one site.
