I forgot about this email. Yes, I only have IE installed right
now and it created the bookmark.htm file. Strange that it
makes only one file. This can be useful for some things, but
not so good for your Fav's folder on another PC. Simply
dragging the Fav's folder to a backup location (or using a
program to backup Favorites) is what one needs to do if they
want to retain the function of the Fav's folder.

When I Export Bookmarks in FF, the default name of the file I
get is bookmarks.html.

When I Export Favorites in IE, the default name of the file I
get is bookmark.htm. AFAIK IE has only one Export option. Re
backing up, I disk image using Acronis' True Image

I believe that's how the FF Import process works.

If you have a PC where IE is the only browser installed, you
can
see if you get a single file, bookmark.htm, when you Export
Favorites.
