When I put the winxp cd in and click on the R it asks what operating system I'm using giving me only one choice, WinXP and then it goes to a DOS prompt. Why doesn't it re install Windows?
The config file in windows\system32\config is corrupted and won't boot. Also some hive in the registry is corrupted. Anyone have a word of wisdom to help?
