Usually, not always, but usually the document is gold 
somewhere, like maybe the bottom toolbar. Or you just go to the 
properties of the doc in the top toolbar somewhere and it will 
tell you info about the file.  Go to "File" then "Document 
properties" and "Document" then "Security".
