I dont mind the human intervention, as I've created the filter and adjusted the settings in Panther, I just want to know why its not working if its supposed to work. If I had someone tell me what all of their settings are that would be helpful. Perhaps an article on PDFZone that details with screen shots how this is set-up would be helpful to alot of people since I've gotten several emails since my post from people who also cannot get it to work. One person mentions that it works but the file is not saved like a regular "save as PDF" but is dumped into a temp folder that a user cant find ---but he doesnt clarify where that is (he must be referring to my description when using some applications that it appears to render the print but the printer doesnt do anything). If I knew for example where the files were I'd get them. In fact I'd be very happy to write a nice article if I could get it to work...or like I said maybe it is working, I just cant find the file if the person who responded is correct. THanks.

The pdf is a image only pdf with text also taken as image. I have to convert

If you are looking for something that will do this without ANY human intervention, you'll need to wait another 5-10 years for the technology to catch up.

Products like Abbyy FineReader and ScanSoft OmniPage Pro are probably the best things you find out there for image->doc (with the possible step of PDF in the middle). It's a LOT of hard work and will need help from you...
