Interestingly, it tried to build Tk. (I've no idea how Tk managed to
infiltrate its way into the PDL dependency chain ... but .... there y'go

The Tk build failed, but that didn't prevent PDL from building
successfully.
That post was from a couple of months ago.
Update: I think the Tk intrusion arose from Astro::FITS::Header recommending
Starlink::AST which in turn recommends Tk (and a few others).
