Mini Coopers never had a rotary engine, all minis were a standard 4cylinder,
1.3 i think.. I dont see that it would be psycilaly possible to put a rotary
in a mini as it would be sitting east/west. altough i have seen a
suoercharged Toyota twin cam in a mini.

The rotary first appeared in a car made by NSU from memory and i think they
were German... then mazda first rotary was in the R100, then RX2, RX3,RX4,
RX5 and RX7.
