Hmmmm, I have been in the photofinishing game since way before
those disposable boxes first hit the market, and I have _never_
seen one with anything slower than 400. Were you seeing off
brand stuff that would have been marketed in the USA only
perchance? The only explanation I can come up with is some sort
of limited product that never got into the world market. I am
pretty sure that now all the Fuji and Kodak ones come with 800,
Konica and Agfa and the off brand and recycled ones come with
400. I see a lot of these one use cameras in the course of my
work, and even the recycled wrecks have 400 in them.
