I was there yesterday and agian the essence was that Minolta owners were pissed off because now even pentax had a DSLR. Other tought it was nice because it could make the Canons cheaper. Others thought it was a great idea if it sold for half the Canon price. Nobody was going to buy it. I know this isn't quite what was being said but still pretty close to the essence. > P.S. Pål you need to start your own Olympus DSLR > discussion group. Hey are you selling of your Pentax > 35mm gear? I'm not going to sell my 35mm gear because I'm perfectly happy with it. However, for me digital isn't about 35mm anyway. I admire the Olympus for one reason only, completely independend of whether I like the Olympus 4/3 or not, they have the guts to make a distinctive product that is not a rip-off of anyone but themselves. They have guts to develop their own ideas and particularly not copying Nikon and Canon and thereby creating a real alternative. The fact that they develop this system to pro grade standards are good news for advanced amateurs who are attracted to such products. Pål
