there's enough less to be noticeably faster on an AF SLR camera. i've shot
digital P&S and AF SLRs for a long time. the *istD is one of the best of the
Pentax ones at AF and it is fast if there is something to lock onto. the
digital P&S ones have a much harder time locking onto something.
