Sorry dude, that sucks.

I'd throw in a Texas joke here, but you seem kind of down...

Well, nothing too exciting. Went for a walk down along the Potomac, took
some pics of my friend and whatnot with the zx-5n, 20-35, and 77.

There was this frou-frou lady walking her bichon-frise, and some little
kid asked if it was a cat. The lady was miffed. So they stood there for
a minute as the kid walks off, and I ask if I could take some pics of
the dog, and she agreed.

I think I have some funny shots of this little kitty-dog barking his ass
off at me. Cantankerous bastard.

I seem to be getting lots of pet shots recently.

One more thing...this might make you feel a little more fortunate...we
went to lunch beforehand, and then headed to museum. After searching 20
minutes for a space, we parked and got out. It was at that point I
realized I had left my pack with my zx-5n, 20-35 and 77 in the
restaurant.

Luckily, after hyperventilating, crapping my pants, and flouting all
known traffic laws, we made it back to the restaurant and it was still
there.

It wasn't McDonalds.
