A little further back in the newspaper there is another list of
crooks, published every day. The same names show up day after day
after day. This list of crooks is much longer than the list of drunk
drivers. Most everyone on the list really is a crook, potentially a
dangerous one, but unfortunately not all have been charged and
convicted yet.
We in the US think of ourselves as a law-abiding nation, but every day
the crooks on this list steal and defraud with impunity. Oh, that list
of names of crooks - it's alphabetized and abbreviated because there's
so many names. It's the stock market page.
Gimme a break. That is a gross oversimplification and generalization of
some problems with a couple of bad apples.
