yes, the price difference is pretty substantial over the US price, after
converting for exchange rate. so far, i've found the A* 400/2.8 to be very
useful, but awkward to deal with because of size and weight. however, it's
one of those necessities. i'm seriously thinking about the FA* 600/4, but if
Pentax delivers a decent new high end DSLR body, that has to take priority.
