Funny how the vast majority of those (in fact all but a small handful) who have joined this list since I started have been welcomed with open arms, and have managed to fit in beautifully with no problems.
Those few that have ruffled feathers from the outset tend to blame "the list" and not look at their own behaviour as being the problem.

If you had been around longer you would know how wrong you are. There's no old boy network here. But there is a group of friends who have learned to treat each other with respect. We value that highly and do our best to convince others that it's the best way.
