Aesthetically quite pleasing but personally I'd prefer a bit more sharpness. Of course, as you're well aware, to do this you'd have to stop the lens down a coupla stops and lose that lovely OOF light green background (alternatively, your 200/4 macro may be sharper at this aperture - I can't bear to see this thing getting so little use q-:). Also reckon I would have neatimaged it (-:
I (think I) understand your intentions in this shot, but, well, I'm an entomologist, not an artist (-:
Looking at it again, I'm wondering whether compression is the cause of the softness. Either way, I'd prefer to see a sharper and less noisy image.
