All digicams with Leica lenses I saw so far give excellent results, well
exceeding my best expectations for them.
I had the chance to see very large format  prints from those files, and
Leica has raised his reputation in my own opinion since then. I'm not so
interested about where and by who those optics are made: in any case those
Panasonics with Leica lenses simply give stunning picture quality, despite
the extended zoom range.
I have no explanation for that, but seeing is believing.
